Life Cycle of a Frog Dictation
The female frog lays thousands of jelly-coloured eggs in the water. It takes about ten days for the eggs to hatch. Eggs hatch into tiny tadpoles. They swim, eat and grow. The tadpole uses its tail to swim. As the tadpole grows it sprouts legs It is now called a froglet and its tail begins to shrink. Its front legs start to appear and its lungs begin to grow. Its eyes and mouth grow larger and the tail keeps shrinking. When the tail is gone it can now live on land.
